Had to attend to the 2CV car because the Test was due. The jobs were much bigger than I'd planned for, rings, barrels etc. plus front bumper and brackets and a new front wing. just got it all finished and road tested today, Phew! Test on Thursday. That's June gone then!

To relax after I started sanding the van's cabin, ready for some paint.
There are a couple of jobs I've done in the past that were worse...overhead welding with 4mm. electrodes, nasty, very nasty and having to crawl inside a farm vaccy tanker to weld a patch in, nasty in a different way.
I'm sanding the corrugated sides and the roof with emery tape and it's bad, bad for dust, bad for posture(I'm older these days!) bad enough for me to put on a proper resp. mask and goggles and set a fan up to blow the flamin' stuff away.
I really should have done this when the bodyshell was upside down, why didn't you tell me

AC 539 Vert Jade on the left, quite a jolly colour and similar to what's left in there. Should go well with the exterior Blue.

Yes it is Fer, and so is the Blue.
Luckily for me I'm repairing and not restoring otherwise it'd be all Grey.

I bought a 67 2cv once this had an oriental carpet on the floor too. They cut holes in it for the seat rails ;-)

Might even be 'cosy', except that LED worklights aren't much good for heating the workspace? ;)
