Here it is in Piet Olyslager's book.
The unions on this engine were not bound and not loose either.

425 cc. rings.

Middle ring at the top of the pic.

Oil control ring , main ring, backing piece and two very thin rings that above and below the main one. Is this normal?
The thin, almost shim like pieces that the rings sit against, what are they for? Are they scrapers?
Keeping them all in the order and the way up that they came out though.

I'm well confused by 'em!

I've removed the spring clips but the flamers won't move.

If I support the rocker shaft posts

can I drift the shafts out? I'd like them out because it's better on re-assembling.
One of you must have done it, don't hold back Bois! ;)

Leaving well alone...

Pressed the pin out a fair way and it is still a very good fit in the posts.
So stopped and thought about it. I can get the pin out with some difficulty
but re-installing it (without damaging/mashing something)when the head is fastened to the crankcase? I can't guarantee it. Also because the pin has a flat on one end which bears against a bush that one of the head studs goes through(hope you're keeping up!), the chance of that engaging correctly with the pin being so tight are slim. So I pressed the pin back in and will have to be careful when refitting the heads. The bottom ends of the push rod tubes show signs of careless assembly some time ago  . So that's 1 to the engine and 0 to the amateur home mechanic :D . The game's not over yet though, this flamer has slumbered long enough.

Rob,
did you try heating the rocker shaft pedestals with a blowlamp?
Differential thermal expansion between the alloy and the steel shaft.

Yes, I did do it, many years ago, with one of the 500cc conversions for these engines... ;)
