Five years ago, when I was repairing the Charleston. First tent bailed out so had to buy the present one. 6m.x3m. for £200.00 has been a good tent but starting to show it's age now.

The wiring begins, I'm running the wires from the engine compartment, up and over the door tube. We decided to crimp them and pull 'em with the 'fishing' wire that we'd already poked through.

As is to be expected on this Flamer :roll:, the light switch stalk was seized and unable to operate the horns.

The plan is to make the loom up as I go along, test it and remove it to wrap it.
No fuse box fitted :o :? :?: .

Yes it's a wonderfully elegant Steam Punk world of what seem to be electrically operated bi-metallic strips and lots of contacts. nothing appeared to be burnt out so I used some 1200 grit to clean the points and some cotton buds and thinners for the other contact areas. The dremel and it's little wire brush helped a lot. Put back together and...

Question, is this normal for a '50's Citroen. I don't have any experience of how the Scintex flasher/timer is supposed to be.

That's on low beam , a P45t 6 volt bulb in a Valeo reflector and a plastic shell. I hated taking off the original shells, so well made, so it goes... :) .
