The only advice I've ever been offered about 'projects' was to just keep chipping away at them, lots of nice indoor dreaming , planning stuff and then the much harder execution part(which often takes much longer than you ever thought possible). The hardest part of that journey is the first step, trite but true  Right, enough of that B*lls**t,

One of the manifold studs let go at 10 lb. ft. in the cylinder head but I had a 7mm. 8mm. replacement so was able to sort it. Then tightened heads.

Top tip, make sure you don't forget to install the pushrods beforehand ;) .

Glad that's done.

Put some castors from a 'Walls' ice cream freezer on an old work table which is a nice working height for me.

First let turn the engine over a while on the starter without the ignition switched on. To pump the oil around.
