Re: Van repairs There's a 'Gear Lever Slider Lubrication' thread over on the official 2CVGB forum and many recommend talcum powder and other recommend silicone spray.

Re: Van repairs Yes, talcum powder.  It can act like very small ball bearings. Just don't try to run it in your gearbox.
