The spring's gone on this too,(basically it's gonna be Winter forever). Luckily thanks to this site http://2cvco.canalblog.com/ and it's Google translate facility, I can see and understand what it is supposed to look like.

Found some spring steel, put it in the woodburner and had a mug of rosie.

Whole thing had to be warmed up to break the rust seal on the cups.

Needle rollers rusted in. Nut is essential.

I had to do this on an old spitfire I had. :(

I hope the nightmares don't start again.

A Dremel to clean up the rusty edges, does help. I did put my driveshafts with the universal joint in a bucket of diesel for 2 weeks. Everything came out easy after that.
