Must pump the oil up when working.

One thread has a land which is a taper fit in arm mount, might fit nylok if there's room, or torque up and drill all the way through castellated nut and fit suitable split pin.
Put 50ml. LHM in each one after annealing filling plug copper washers. Heavy units, over 5.5kg. each. Hopefully fit the rear arms and crossmember etc. this weekend if the weather's fair.

On this old timer the steering rod has the track rod end welded on.

ImageP1000847 by Robndaisy, on Flickr

Tracking is achieved by using combinations of shims, not happy about this

Van lever arm in black, alongside a later arm.

Uses light springs instead of rubber for anti-rattle.

Bearings were very good, probably because the whole space in the arm had been filled with grease.

Imageso much grease that the frotteur was non-stick! by Robndaisy, on Flickr

Lovely weather last Saturday so fitted the tubes.

ImageP1000866 by Robndaisy, on Flickr

The rear arms also.

Sorting out the covers for thew frotteurs, found the original nuts and tab washers, too flaming late now

ImageP1000869 by Robndaisy, on Flickr

a bit of dressing up to do on these two.

ImageP1000871 by Robndaisy, on Flickr

Frots have a paper gasket either side apparently.

What fun. Have ordered front wheel bearings , seals and kingpins, just in time ;)

This one

ImageP1000898 by Robndaisy, on Flickr

Needed more persuasion in seating and a blunt punch,

ImageP1000901 by Robndaisy, on Flickr

Not good looking but grease tight.

I'm afraid the comment's already been made

Thanks Pete, sometimes though I wonder why i'm trying to put this flamer back on the road. It'll be 60 this year(2 years younger than me!). They get a hook into you these A series I guess and they seem to be very adaptable to the whims of their owners :)
With a lathe and a miller I could do better on the more engineered components...next one perhaps, NFC!*

*No Flaming Chance.

@NFC,
Live in hope, the lathe has been on loan to me, from my neighbour, who needed the space!
