On the 31st of July we pick up the keys to our new house and my wife has very kindly allowed me to start tinkering with cars again. Mum still has a red special I need to sort out but a friend asked if I could keep an eye out for a 2cv for her. A few lost eBay auctions later and this lovely R&W D0lly popped up. It looks a bit tired but nothing too bad.

I pick her up on the 3rd August but I popped down yesterday to have a good look around and see what was/wasn't there.

Dudley!....it looks to have had nothing done on it since we sold it 3 years ago - needed rear sweeps, rear light panel (if doing a full resto) - worse bit is the front lower windscreen and hinge as you have seen - but otherwise it was a sound car and passed through about 6 MOT's in our ownership with welding bits done every year, new kingpins, wheel bearings etc.....

Well Dudley is back home and in the garage alongside mums Red Spesh. Dudley is in a remarkable condition really other than a completely rotten chassis. Dudleys future owner has agreed to keep it as a Red and White D*lly.

Mums red spesh is such a basket case that we're going to tackle that first. Well once I save up enough pennies for two of Kens finest products...
