Post Spunkbucket
Bought a really fucked D*lly. It's got no brakes, and the shell is pretty rough. Starts and drives reasonably (but won't stop). Stinks to high heaven and two days and nights with the roof open haven't helped yet. It's pretty unpleasant. I was looking for an E46 BMW Tourer or a Subaru Legacy estate up to about ten years old, and maybe a Golf or Seat Leon for the missus. Somehow though, this shit happened and my other half is fucking livid. Ah well. At least I've got a 2cv again. I'm due to do an Autosolo in March and hopefully a 12car rally, so there's a bit of work to do.

Here's some photos.

I'm going to have a go with a polishing mop on one of those grinder-like tools and see if i can do anything with the paint, so it doesn't de-value my house too much sitting outside.

It's MOT'd until August which is either bent or a fucking disgrace that our civilised nation lets shite like this on our roads. That's probably not going to stop me driving it though, just an observation.

Is Spunkbucket going to stick even after it's had a polish?

I don't name cars, it's just the only word that summed it up. Yeah, it is the car advertised on here. It's seriously unsanitary inside and I can't bring myself to drive it without overalls and latex gloves. I'm going to put most of the interior (steering wheel, gearknob, switches etc) to soak in bleach tomorrow and my neighbour has loaned me a steam cleaner for the seats.

But, on the positives, I cannot wait to take it on a 'solo and give it a pasting, it's got wanky bald firestones on which will mean lots if squealing and hopefully some skids are on the cards. It doesn't fit into a class very well and will be competing against minis and stuff like that so I won't win anything but I bet it'll be a hoot. I understand a freind has a GoPro we can attatch so hopefully I can get some videos.
