u could break the bloody thing and sell the parts for more than the £850 quid you paid for it

Re: Spunkbucket The manifold is pretty knackered, I'm not sure I've ever seen one like this actuàlly. I'm going to have to replace it but I'm interested in the idea of a brazed repair, what's the manifold made out of?

Re: Spunkbucket Some sort of cast ferrous, don't think its important exactly what, you can braze most things, even over the rust to some extent. I would have said weld it but there's the risk of spatter going down the exhaust port.
