Had a quick run out tonight after giving the carb a clean out, the yellow lights aren't half as bad as I expected.

Yellow bulbs in 2CVs and any classic French car should be the law. They just don't look right with clear bulbs fitted. It's like having reflective number plates on a car that should have black/silver number plates fitted. I've had yellow bulbs in all my 2CVs and I've never had an issue.

And they work great in fog, less reflection. |

Finally got round to changing the dash over to a Club one today. I definitely like this a lot more than the smaller one. Halfords are crap full stop. I went out to buy a tube of grease today. Halfords sell rubbish 'Laser' (?) grease gun but don't sell grease. Local independent had several to choose from. As for bulbs, I think the last time I looked the little 501 sidelights were £5 a pair from halfords. A couple of quid for a box of twenty off amazon. What are halfords for? |
