Had a quick run out tonight after giving the carb a clean out, the yellow lights aren't half as bad as I expected.

Yellow bulbs in 2CVs and any classic French car should be the law. They just don't look right with clear bulbs fitted. It's like having reflective number plates on a car that should have black/silver number plates fitted. I've had yellow bulbs in all my 2CVs and I've never had an issue. :)

Finally got round to changing the dash over to a Club one today. I definitely like this a lot more than the smaller one.

As a side note, Halfords bulbs are crap. Lasted about 20 minutes before going pop, ended up putting the old cloudy one back in.

Halfords are crap full stop. I went out to buy a tube of grease today. Halfords sell rubbish 'Laser' (?) grease gun but don't sell grease. Local independent had several to choose from. As for bulbs, I think the last time I looked the little 501 sidelights were £5 a pair from halfords. A couple of quid for a box of twenty off amazon. What are halfords for?

stupid little Led accessories air freshners and shitty overpriced stereos, batteries at double the cost of Euro and the likes. Think the only thing they do of any merit is employ spotty teenage kids and get 30yr old blokes out from under their mothers feet.

I don't, and never have had any problems with night time driving with yellow bulbs. Folk who reckon they do are clearly suffering with night blindness. Simple.

Oh.... And yellow bulbs are "Cool"
