Before me was a VW polo. It was idling with a strange noise. I asked the tester if it was a diesel....he laughed and said no a Volkswagen... ;-)

Just repaired a non working heater linkage on a friends 2cv. It couldn't be shut off. Very nice a heating in this weather... ;-)

Yesterday i had to take the 57 out of the garage. It didn't want to start. So used the handpump, nothing, took the cables of the coil and spakplugs nothing. So i took a sparkplug from my toolbox to see if i had a spark. Test and yes there was a spark and the engine fired up on one plug. I startled and took the loose plug and got some shocks... ;-) Put cables back on and it started right away.

They do sound funny on one cylinder don't they. I blew a spark plug out at very high revs once. One of the funniest and most frightening noises ever, haha.

You're so right! Lots of people used to turn and stare when my exhaust failed at the front. And then they laughed...
