I understand that some companies/couriers mess up at times, and they have for me also.

However ..... I ordered some electrical parts from Mouser UK. Turns out after I ordered, that it was coming from Texas USA ....

That said .... I ordered on Friday (about 5pm), and expected delivery was on Tuesday!

Yeah Yeah, I thought, believe that when I see it

Had an update at 7:30 on Monday, that it would be delivered that day ...

FedEx driver rang my doorbell before nine.

Awesome :o

Would have been better if the part had fit though

Well we had a nice month in france. The parcel arrived perfect at the campingsite. Did see a few deuches and 2 ami's. Not very much other oldtimers.
The c3 preformed well, it worked just. The old peugeot van we had just played with the caravan. But we got there and back. Fuel consumption almost doubled.
Caravan is going on sale now due to my parents age.

Our other C3s dash looked like a pinball machine this morning. Wipers startet moving in 2 cm jumps.... When turning the key to start it went dead. Battery perished after 12 years... shit quality.. ;-)

I picked up the green 57 today, i had been stationed on a proctected site but baking in the sun for almost 2 months. Pull the starter and vroom. Great, it's much more pleasent to drive this in the heat than the C3. Ventilation is superb in comparison with a modern car.
