Oh dear. Its so obvious you might not look.

My other half reported highly alarming clunk's from Golf mk4 the other day. By text, the first thing I strongly suggested was please wobble each wheel to check they're done up!

Had to take the C3 to the MOT and it didn't pas one clamp of the drive-shaft rubber was broken. SO back to home and try to fix it. It took me 1,5 hours, only problem the MOT is closed now till 4 januari... grrr
Happy new year to all of you.

After resting 3 days in snow and frost the 57 had it a little harder to start this morning with -11. I had to try 3 times before it ran. All streets were white. So light slithering to work. Somehow the suspension was not as soft as usual. I didn't dare to close the grille cover more as it might break due to the cold. On the way back the screens were iced over from the inside...

Your yellow Deuche is still my favourite forum car. Its so nice.

So much endless rain here, but snow now too so that's nice. The rain is so much and so endless....

Here, only 35-55 cm measured from backyard. Last winter we had almost same what on that nice photo, two years ago more than now...

Last weekend i filled oil in the 57 and was distracted surely. So i forgot to close the filler cap. Monday morning i started the car and heard a plock noise and a little different engine noise. So open the bonnet und sure the cap did fly open. I closed it and got to work. But the rest of the week i noticed a very slight burning smell. So on arriving home today i did open the bonnet and yes i also did forget to put the dipstick in. The whole engine bay was covered in a fine oil layer. And burning on the exhaust. I thought i did loose the the dipstick but it was still laying on the street...
So i have to start cleaning...again. Pffff

Stick a checklist in your car , and check it before you start it .
It is usual procedure in airplanes . ;)

Well it has one propellor.. ;-)
It did look worse than i thought. It was clean in 10 minutes. The rest is rust proofing...
Wanted to fill petrol took the filler cap of and poing it flew apart. The internal spring was missing. So i was looking under all cars. When i gave up and wanted to go inside to get an other cap, the spring was laying between my feed......
Now i have to deal with a problem on a watch of a family member. And our house phones did all gave up working and the ringtone got silent.... Stupid electronic rubbish.
Have a nice weekend you all ;-)))
