Yes you are right on supermarket parkings i always put the car in a corner far from the trolley parking point and the rest of the cars. But here it was in the street the front car could just drive away forward. I think he had his gear in reverse without knowing. |

We had a very severe rainstorm this afternoon. So when i came to the parking to get the car i opened the door and got a load of water running from the roof. Exact inside on the drivers seat. Nice.... Never seen water standing in an puddle on a 2cv roof???? |

The rain here has been so severe! Lots of floods, My baby was 'almost' dry inside, just a couple of tiny drips, which I can cope with. A couple of years ago I kept getting a damp seat. Rusty seam over the B pillar. Sneaky, lol..... |

The broken chevrons came off twice already. I think the 2k glue isn't working anymore, it doesn't harden enough. So another try with another type of glue, see what happens. |

P1020060 by Robndaisy, on Flickr If you can find a bit of old aluminium sheet like this, which is off a caravan I think, they're easy enough to make . |

I have a lot of thin aluminium at work. We can print on that, chassis plates, name plates, counter dials, etc. But the chevrons are thin i don't know if they will solder. |

You could try a thin piece from your work, just as a test . |

Well they are glued with the new glue, see how it holds up. I have to put new tyres on the front of the 83. It has to be MOTed. Next week. |
