That's bad luck but, because it's metal, you can carefully fix it, unlike the modern plastic sh*t. |

After i took the inside mesh off, i could push it back and to do a bit of work with the undenting set. Some paint flaked off and two half chevrons broke their fixing lugs... |

The dent is flattend but the bonnet seems to be tordated. One side scratches on the wing the other side i can put an hand between.... Here the repaired chevron halves, with new lugs glued on with 2K.

Did take the lot apart again yesterday. Slightly bend the bonnet in diverse directions, take an wing off, loosened the bumper and moved that a bit forward. Bend the bonnet catch. Put everything back together and no more scratching sounds while driving. pff. Still to do put one broken twice chevron-half back in, than the wire mesh and the aluminium grille surround. And if have to get some paint to retouch the grille. |

Thanks for making this nice thread. Personally I avoid parking places where the cars are standing in a line. Because I think of other drivers like raving lunatics with no skills in car handling. I prefer those parking spots where the cars stand parallel to each others. I believe the chance of getting away from that unharmed is better. |
