The car is running better every day. Even the shudder that ocured in running over manhole covers is almost gone. Oil in the batteurs better slushed around in there maybe??? It reached almost 90km/H this afternoon. Not bad for a 12HP.
Only brakes are still very noisy. I will open them up in the weekend to see if there is anything wrong.

Had the brakes open today. The so told new brakes seemed only to be cleaned wheel cylindres. The rest was dirty old rubish.
I cleaned it up a little and grinded a taper on the leading edges of the brake shoes. But i didn't get the time to do a test run. Keep that till tomorrow. In the future the best thing to do is take the whole engine/gearbox out and give it a clean and new brakes. For the time being it has to work as is.

Brakes are silent now. First they didn't pick up and the rear was stronger than the front. But now they are ok.....

Took the speedo/wiper drive out today and greased it. Hope the wipers will be more silent now.
Other good news this week i finally got my 1925 cloverleaf engine running like it should. I hadn't run since 1965. Someone marked the timingmarks wrong on the flywheel. Maybe that was the reason it didn't run since 1965 ;)

I have a gauge that lies in the AK350, runs out at about 1/4 tank.

Then there's the 2 tank - switchover tap with an off position, under the seat.

Then there's the switch that flips the gauge over between tanks.

Sooo many opportunities to get it wrong and chug to a halt at the side of the road.
