Do you have a picture of these dampers ?
There are several different types of these dampers and I am just curious how yours look like .

They are under the rubber cover again. But i can tell you they are painted metallic blue, there is rest of a gold/red coloured sticker on it. The cover looks like the standard citroen covers but there is a hole half way down the center for regulating them with a screwdriver..

Had a drive in brand new C4 picasso yesterday. A marvellous car but it is very stuffed with electronics and little lights and signals everywhere. The dash is completely computerized all is actioned over two screens.... Was happy to get back in the 57 with its 2 buttons and 2 dials... ;-)

At work my vehicle is a C4 Grand Picasso HDI AIrdream. (Lol.) It is the most complex vehicle you can imagine, does some things pretty well but the electronic clutch and electric steering, electric handbrake, touch screen controls.... I sense it is not long for this world!

Post Re: AZL 1957
When i had a ripped driveshaft grommet last week i noticed the driveshaft nut wasn't very thight. So this morning i went to my garage to see if i could thighten up that nut with the right tool. All went well and both driveshaft nuts could be turned on quarter turn. On the drive home i heard a slight rumbling noise wehn i took the foot of the accelerator ,and it got worse the further i drove. I stopped on the side of the road as Geo passed we did look and feel but didn't find something wrong or strange. So i drove on when accellerating nothing but when driving downhill or braking a lot of noise. So i took the front wings of at home. I figured the old homokinetic joint did break internally. So i went again to the garage to get the tools and put another driveshaft in. When i wanted to undo the wheel nuts they all seemed to have come loose???  Never have had this in 33 years of 2cv driving. So after tightning them up, problem gone... HAPPY, saved from a dirty job in the rain..

Gave the car a big wash, also under the wings but there almost nothing of dirt came out. I think the Mike Sanders grease does stop the dirt from sticking on... ;-)

The 57 has been put in the garage after its winter service. The 2cv6 did start rather well after long months sleep...;-)

Cool. Whats the show one?

And you use this gorgeous '57 for the winter? I'm in love with it.
