Stunner of a tree isn't it. Lovely. As long as you don't park under it in autumn.

Last few days the 1st gear jumped out several times. On checking i did see the lever touched the firewall. The gearbox mount was tilted a bit to the back. So i did loosen all engine support nuts and pulled the lot a bit forward. Looks ok now, will see how it works later.

Well it works fine, but the car was very noisy this morning. I did bent the engine cowling a bit and the metal did hit the edge. A quick push with a screwdriver stopped the racket.

I almost crashed the C3 on a roundabout just now...ppfffff. I hate those fat curved A-pillars. They cover a complete car if you are turning in on a roundabout and the other car is moving too.... Shit design..

The cloth on the seat of my green 57 start to desintegrate after 34 years. They were made new then as my car was being restored. At that time they didn't have new tissue so the french upholsterer did buy old stock from his collegues. So who knowes how old it really is.
I ordered green bayadere now. This was at a bargain price of 28 euros per metre. Normally ist around 120 per meter. So if anyone needs this to check out Renov2cv-mehari36.fr They are in Chateauroux. They several old types of tissue on sale.

It's like this red but very worn. Holes are falling in it. It will be green like the other one. It's raining so i can not go out photographing it.

Absolutely love the red. The green is nice too though.

Well DPD dit send a mail the parcel was delivered... No not at our adres, not with the neighbours not at the DPD station 2 doors down the road???? Checking tracking at DPD site, nothing. Checking the number via an universal tracking site. It seems that someone at DPD did say i refused the parcel and did return it to france. The stupid a..... So i contacted both DPD and the seller. Only a reaction from DPD so far they thought the parcel was still in the local sorting center but they were not sure....Great.
