tried to use the starting handle but someone seems to have welded the disc that goes in the fan grill in the wrong position. So the thing is very wobbly to use....pfff, that's what you get if peugeot owners repair a 2cv... ;-) After all the other stupid things i came acros...

did mail the previous owner of my 57 to ask if he did find the 125x400 tyre he had stuffed in the attick. So i can give the car a right size spare tyre at last. He called back, you can come and get it i did find some other 2cv stuff you can have..... Surprise, surprise as i arrived there he had some 100 kilos of old 2cv parts standing there in crates. I couldn't even take every thing at once in the 12hp....

had ripped rubber on a driveshaft JV joint. Was trying to take it apart but i had borrowed my special tools to someone...grrrr.
By the time i got him on the phone i managed to loosen the hub nut with a big spanner. So everything is put back together again...
There was also a ripped rubber cap over the friction damper. So i took it of to replace it and to my surprise the car had special from the outside adjustible dampers... ;-)
