Re: AZL 1957
Well the stuff in the horn was so hard that i had to use the angle grinder. I made some more room under the diaphragm. It works now but it still needs some adjusment it think. When grinding it smelled like tar so that must be the stuff they put in... Did some rust proofing on the gutter. The waterleak is reduced much now there is still a little water coming in but i didn't find the origin yet.

Re: AZL 1957
Think i found the origin of the waterleak. But i can't test it yet. For the rest i did a service a bit of fresh oil after 1,5 years of use. It was rather neccesary it was a dirty black rubbish that came out. Found some loose nuts here and there. A little tip of paint over the kit in the gutter and it looks nice again.

Re: AZL 1957
i can imagine that but a waterleak means rust and that is something a 2cv doesn't like...

Re: AZL 1957
Yesterday the car was frozen over again. It started well al the cold period. Today i did drive some 30 km's at arrival i stopped and the i had to put the car in an other parking spot and it refused to start...??? After 1 hour i visited an ex-colleque i pulled the starter and it runned again as if nothing had happened. Strange...on the way back it had two or 3 misfires than everything went smooth again. A well it's 59 years old and the engine isn't restored yet
