Hello you all,
My name is Fer from the south of the netherlands. I am driving 2cv's since 1983. Also i am the owner of 2 1957 azl models. The last one i bought 3 weeks ago. And i am resolving problems daily since.. :? There was a lot of lacking maintenance and "wrong" repairs.
I am friend of Geo well known on this site.

yes eeec sticker but it was already on the car. Told you i bought one.
Problems:
Non greased drivershafts, kingpins and several loose bolts and nuts. Broken lightswitch came on by it's self... Dirty carb, dirty original airfilter i succeed in cleaning but when drying it with compressed air it desintegrated. Broken rubber on airvent, broken battery clamp. Headlamp glasses were loose water running through them. Old carpet glued in the dash. Rubbish fel apart and the water stayed under it so much rust in the parcel shelf. Little hole in back door sill/inner wing. Wrong bulbs in rear lights (12v) etc etc. Yesterday it was on the bridge for anti-rust treatment. I found a non fixed brakeline on the rear arm and the second muffler was completly holed by rust... :mrgreen: For the rest everything ok (sofar).
p.s. it originates from Aveyron.

Looking for troubles at these old cars you'll find troubles.... That's why I don't start looking at mine :lol: :lol: Just drive it and it will be fine...

Thank you. Yes he did, send me a link several times that i couldn't open while no memeber here :shock: .
I have had an 2cv 57 since 20 years. That one was completely restored. I bought it from a friend in France. Hence my name AZL57.
