Post Re: A green 2CV4 from France!
I feel that there are more green 2cv in England than are in France !

Did anyone has already search for new arlequin seats and found somebody who has restart a manufacturing ?

In france, there was a supplier in the south of france who proposed this product but he stopped the manufacturing few month ago because he had quite a few quality issues.
Currently, an other supplier has made a survey to decided if he launches a new manufacturing or not. It seems that he has taken the decision to do... I give you the link if somebody could be interested ?

I LOVE your car, Roro. It's from my favourite era of 2cvs, and is in a great colour.

There are a lot of vert bambou 2cvs in Britain, although most of them are later ones, from 1987, when we had the "Bamboo" special edition. This was basically just a normal 2cv6 Special, but painted green, with "Bamboo" decals on the doors and boot, and with Charleston-style chrome lights: -

Sadly, there aren't that many of the cooler 1970s ones left, and even fewer of the very cool mid-70s Belgian-built ones.

Even if green is not the most represented color, I have often seen "bambou" ( limited edition or not) on the meetings. "Tuilleries" seems to be less common, the difference is very small ... It is surely due to the number of years of production.
