Nice

as a note i normally fit up all my floors and sills on a donor chassis to get it right!!

there is a great chance the front end will drop if this is not done
as the shells are normally sprung into position when spot welded at the factory

More over it ensures the new floors and toe board holes fit correctly!!

No donor chassis here, I'm thinking I will run some steel along the bottom or the body to use as a straight edge...

Cheers,

Harley

ok. must be living in my own world.... but why don't you use the original chassis?????????????????
Put the body on; fixate the body at the boot with 2 screws, put in the 2 last screws at the rearbench.Take the new bulkhead put in the 2 screws to fixate that, put in the floors and fixate them with the screws and nothing can go wrong......

If you don't put it on a chassis and you're just a few mm off your screwed.....

Cheers Geo...

Most chassis here are so badly rusted and bent they would not support a body shell for renovation!!

But i do have a new jig chassis at my shop for such jobs!
