well here is the new project, 1987 2cv D*lly. taxed and mot'ed. same owner from 6 months old. needs a little bit of welding on the bottom of a-posts, new alternator and will need roof replacing at some point. left a deposit, will be delivered soon. these are the only pics i've got.    its had new seats fitted.

Looks good  Know why it needs a new alternator? They're pretty hard to kill if they've been in regular use. Could be brushes, fuse (if it has one) or a wider charging issue. |

If not, might be worth checking the charging rate, esp with all ancillaries on. Could also be something as simple as a loose wire. Mine did this, showed zero charge for a while and turned out to be the live feed to the alternator, which had fallen off. One proper connector later and all was well. |

cheers, don't thinks its regulater as its not putting any charge out. not got it home yet, maybe this afternoon. |
