Put a silencer on this today and it's 99 dB at 4500 rpm and absolute max 101 dB. So it's quite loud, anticipating it to go down a little when I have a proper sealed exhaust rather than the bodged flexi pipe thing it has at the moment..

Proper exhaust is done now, well ish.

A part from the driveshafts it's there or there abouts with just nit shit that needs finishing off.

It's got a proper join to the mani now and is blue, I guess it must get pretty hot!

Blower fan in the big orange tube pulls warm air to de-mist, the aluminium bit bodged onto the exhaust keeps most of the heat out, and the foil is there unit I get the proper sleeving from work. Exhaust needs heat wrapping.

Painted all the inner wings and stuff really badly, just to stop them rusting until I get some more AC090..

I'm going to use two 2cv air boxes for filters for the moment, may work, may not. Either way it'll have some big orange ducts there too.

Excellent!

Got two ITF foam filters on bmw bamboo at the mo, pretty compact.

Hopefully your's will cool ok with that big un'. Had to use two coolers & a fan on mine for traffic after fast runs.

Yeah I've had it sat on idle for quite while on the drive to see how it's react to that, it gets seriously hot might have to mount a little one elsewhere. Maybe the bigger grille (and more grilles) will make the difference!

Took it to Registers. Didn't really drive it. My dad did and pulled the exhaust off. Little Rich, Pete Abbot and Neil did a fucking massive burn out (awesome), and the engine came away from the adapter plate - the clutch lever fork was also bent, possibly in relation to this incident.

So I took the engine out in the field then when I saw the clutch fork I decided to fix it at home.

Welded the clutch fork up and put the engine back in. Raised it a good two inches at the front but will have to do something creative at the back.. All working once more.

How did you manage to get the engine away from the adaptorplate???????

Looking at the gesture/mimik of Louis Barbour, you must be in deep trouble when the picture was made
