BTW, convering your car into injection will cost around 750 to 1000 euro and will give you about 2 or 3 more hp and thats it... A 2cv carb is a good solution believe me..

2 injectors 200 euro
2 injector bungs 100 euro
1 high pressure fuelpump 100 euro
1 fuelpressure regulator 100
throttle position sensor 20 euro
wires+ connectors 100 euro
returnlead to fueltank 50 euro
and a 1-2-squirt and spark unit... about 250 euro...

If anyone needs injector bungs I can recommend these:

they come in steel or alloy, I have used them for my supercharger manifold.

Awesome stuff. Cage it, bucket seats, tank guard, cut offs & come run it in sports libre hill climbs with green car & I??

Sounds like a good bit of fun - May not need tank guard as it's metal - it's got cut offs... half way there? haha plumbed in extinguisher is something I'd like too.

Get on, yeah you should eh.

From memory (we are in Sports Libre class for hill climbs and sprints - with the engine change) the bare minimum is:
- tank guard
- recessed fuel filler (within the bodywork)
- full cage
- 6 point harnesses
- kill switch that will kill all electrics and stop the motor
- hand held extinguisher

.... do it....

Phase two is coming on nicely..

I've put the ticker killer on the throttle body so now it's bit better balanced - still need to do it properly.
I've created a heater so hopefully I'll be able to see where I'm going - this includes a small Mocal oil cooler - it might just be more effective than my massive one at the front  but it was 5x the price so I guess it should be...
I've put a sump guard / bottom mount on the engine.
External pull, modified the gear change and stiffened up the mountings so it slots in nicely now.
Got a clutch cable that works and fits.
Made a very bodgey air box, but it seems to keep it a bit quieter..
Modified the oil cooler mounts at the front as they were crap before.

Extended ever sleeve - it has a U shaped bracket on the other side of the bulk head to bolt over it now.

and After.

Extra oil cooler / heater in the orange bit of piping is a fan, then goes into a cone funnel thing then into the de mist tube.

Bottom mount / speed bump basher.

I've still got more to do over christmas, definitely want to change how the exhaust goes together and I've got the parts for that but wanted to drive it so threw it all back together! I think I'll be putting a set of toyos on it tomorrow.

Looks awesome! Nice work. Are you going to get the wheels banded and some wider rubber? Mr Sparrow has mine at present and is sending them away currently for this as well as getting a cage fitted & a couple of other bits to tidy it up.

Oil filler O-ring failed today, its also been running like a bag of shit - wondering if the two are related.
The amount of oil that the chassis and body have been subjected to - unreal. It'll be the most well protected front end on an Ami ever.

Oil issue resolved - local car shop had the right O - Ring.

Did the valve gaps, and checked the plugs which both looked okay one a bit darker than the other.

The misfire appears to be an imbalance on the throttle bodies - tried to do it listening but the exhaust had started to go and temp gauge was up at 110 degrees. (no cooling fan with from end off)

I've tried to make a manometer, how well this will work I guess only time will tell!

Feels like I'm nearly at the point of being able to use it every day happily, just want to get there with it now!!
