Gone and done it again and now own my 5th A series in as many years - A Blue Celeste 87 - needs a bit of TLC but hopefully will be the basis for a sound little motor.
Spent all morning getting the electrics to work OK but they now seem fine - combination of the usual shite Citroen fuse box gremlins and the crappy bullet and bodged lucar connectors.

News from the garage today re MOT.......exactly as predicted, rear floor and safety belt mounts need repairs and headlight lenses need replacing but otherwise, apart from adjusting handbrake which I knew I should have done before taking it up to them, no other major issues so with a bit of Fettling and my cash should have it back in a couple of weeks.

Yeh - I had considered removing rear seat etc but tbh I don't have the ability or the place to do welding at the moment so have to rely on Richard Daltons man...yes, I know JoJo is just up the road but I needed it roadworthy smartish and then will discuss with her the bits that need more "cosmetic" attention at a later date.....
