Well I've owned my 2cv for nearly two years now and I think it's probably about time I introduced myself on this forum. I've been posting on the other forum for the last couple of years, so some of you will recognise me, but I've only just got round to coming here! Quite lazy really, but it happens. I live in Devon and I've been photographing 2cv's for a number of years now and I expect you've seen my Flickr stream, check it out if you've not. So that's me and here's some pictures of my 2cv.

Hey!

I was up in Exeter today in my yellow POS. I was keeping an eye out for a nutter with a zooooom lense! Guildhall car park was RAMMED!

I replaced mine again the other week - 2nd time in 3 years. Punctured diaphragm. Did you install that super-clean engine?

Well I noticed a drip on the floor that was coming from one of the pipes, just looked at it and the plastic snapped and soaked everything in screen wash!

No the engine is still in my office. Just haven't got the time to do it at the mo. The 'box needs a rebuild as well. So I'm trying to get organised and do the engine swap and box rebuild at the same time or at least in the same fortnight.

I don't fancy fitting an electric one. I prefer the manual one as you can control the spray by how hard you press it. I'm not keen on the pattern replacements either, they've all got the word LAV on them! So I've decided I'm going to repair the original. I've got a couple of M5 x 4mm hose adapters and will fit those into the original pump.

Fair enough. I just wanted to fix the old one instead of forking out for a new one!
