Yes, it should, but I have not got that one.

Might be able to deliver it on September 17th. as could be passing down the M1 on that day. Rotherthorpe Services seems to be the nearest meeting point. Am fairly flexible about the time of day.

I'll also check on postage prices.

Yep that's one of my previous cars. Liked that one shoulda kept it! Lol!
No it's not the same one that was a right fuck up.
In fact that last one made me rethink and I haven't had a 2cv for over 2 years.
Hence not logging onto here for donkeys.

Minor point - that's for an older car than this 'un. This has the normal top-hung pedal and twin-choke, not the organ pedal and single-choke, so that rectangular hole isn't needed. They changed around '79.

Nice looking car!

I think the previous owner is on here, 'Deano'.

Quite possible as the guy I brought it from races historic Astons from time to time, it also has an Aston Martin owners club sticker in front screen.

Was the guy Gordon Riseley by any chance? This car was knocking about in Andy Bell of Ecurie Bertelli's workshop for a while. I was offered it when I was down there on a number of occasions but hadn't got any cash to buy another rusty 2cv!

Just realised, didn't mention that those peg bolts are standard M8 thread, so Citroen must have had an off day by not using their preferred choice of b'stard thread.

and get the 35mm long ones as the 40s have a shank which interferes with the thread in the head.

Major point; avoid storing floor mats by rolling them up.
No need to ask how I found this out, since it looks as though this one has begun to suffer the same fate as the ones I lost... :(
