Just realised, didn't mention that those peg bolts are standard M8 thread, so Citroen must have had an off day by not using their preferred choice of b'stard thread. :lol:

Have lubed it so hopefully it frees off. I am guessing its headlight adjuster, should it pull or twist from inside the car.

haha! as a new found expert on this particular element of the car, I can answer that!! :D

on the right hand side (in your case) under the top dash you should see a big knob! , it turns to raise and lower the headlights when weight is in the rear, its a simple system of a thread in a brass barrel, wd40 on the thread I guess if its stuck...ohhh feeling pleased with myself I can answer a tech question!!

haha! all the dirt gives it a brassy sheen! ken you should at least be pleased I can answer the "starter for 10 " question ! :lol: ...by the way I´m following this with regards spacing and shims and all that lot as I´ll have to do the same :D

db78 ---looks like the "r" pin and a washer is missing from the tip of the rod
if it is, the light bar won,t move when u wind your knob :)

You have answered my next question... Should there be an R clip.. will get this working on my next visit then.

Anyone got a front rubber floor liner kicking about? Mine is non existent. :-(

Yep. I have a right hand drive rubber mat with cut out for organ pedal accelerator. It's got a couple of splits, but is basically sound. £10 secures plus postage. Whereabouts are you?
