Nice looking car!

I think the previous owner is on here, 'Deano'.

Quite possible as the guy I brought it from races historic Astons from time to time, it also has an Aston Martin owners club sticker in front screen.

Was the guy Gordon Riseley by any chance? This car was knocking about in Andy Bell of Ecurie Bertelli's workshop for a while. I was offered it when I was down there on a number of occasions but hadn't got any cash to buy another rusty 2cv!

Yes Gordon is a friend of mine and Andy. Anyway its far from a rusty 2cv compared to many  although that is my trade so not a particular challenge.

Yes, it should, but I have not got that one.

Might be able to deliver it on September 17th. as could be passing down the M1 on that day. Rotherthorpe Services seems to be the nearest meeting point. Am fairly flexible about the time of day.

I'll also check on postage prices.

Will see how that date is for me, but September is very busy with work for me. try www.interparcel.com should be less than £10

Bought this 2cv a couple of years ago with intention of racing it, however over time I have changed my mind and would like to see it back on the road in its original looking form but with some performance updates

Yes, something I thought about a few years back seeing it from the Spa 24hr cars. That is awsome and something I have considered for this car?? If I did it i would want it as discrete as possible though.

That thread is a great read. Still going to concentrate on getting an MOT as priority so its an ongoing project not an unfinished project!

Done a few little jobs lastnight, one being the gear linkage bushes which feels a lot better.
I did try to push the car and found my front brakes stuck on! Is this a common thing or do I need to strip brakes for a check and clean?

Could be just your hand brake pads stuck with rust from standing, the main pads can suffer likewise, you could drive it to clear them off, then try again to see id she rolls OK.
