Hello

I found again one 2CV... lucky me...

As this kind of 2CV is not common here , I need some information's so I can restore it to original condition.

If anyone knows ...

It is 2CV4 from 1973 (according to numbers...)
435 ccm engine

I need info's about interior ... dashboard color, steering wheel, seats, side panels and for outside need color codes for that production year.

It was original red paint, but i dont want that color...

Hmm, having looked at that ebay ad again and read what others have to say I'm not so sure of its authenticity! Perhaps you should seek other sources of reference.

I'd say it was definitely a four three five...

I'd agree, if its a 602 it's been very well disguised as a 435.

Hi Keza

Ok well that is rouge Rio that you have there, (quite a rare colour on a 2CV)

If its 72 model year then it will have some lovely features that seemed to vanish from about 73 onwards.

I've got a brochure here for this year so let me get it and give you some details.

Thanks for answers... It is original 435 2CV4 . All of number plates are on. Red color is original inside (firewall, etc.) but outside it was sprayed in past.

In original roof was with external opening . Looks like speedometer is original and it is old style blue with big letters, plastic dashboard around speedometer is black with tin inox plate for round switches - one red button for start, one pull-push button for wipers and red light for ignition.

Upper dashboard lining is in the trunk but it is from Charleston...

Door trims are big type and inner looks are covered with beige - gray small plastic caps. Seats is missing - back seat is "pepita" style Charleston - early 1980 type.

I found pictures of 2CV4 that has black dashboard and plastic black steering wheel. And I notice that there was no differences between 2CV6 and 2CV4 in 72 - 73 range . Always two cars on brochures and infos about 2CV4 and 2CV6.

Lates news...

OK, engine didnt crank :) But it turns and has sparks...

Pictures latter ...
