Re: Aussie' Kermit Had to order some different spark plugs today as the standard ones protrude to deep for the twin spark side, hitting the valve... My mate just sent me this pic of the injector bungs welded in place Progress! PP or did you make them yourselve???? And how is the problem solved for shorttening the lower stud??? I like the idea of twinspark now it is possible to drive it with my ignition.... I had the heads machined locally by an drag racer engine legend, he has since retired, cost was $1000.00AUD and 18months it took him to get around to doing it. I'm very happy with his work, I remember him saying he had another idea of how he would do it differently next time but I can't remember now... I did have a diagram a Horst the German megasquirt Ami owner did, I believe he machined his own twinspark using simple tools. The lower head stud is replaced with an 'Unbrako' bolt which sits just in front of and below the spark plug, it is accessed through the tappet are via a welch-plug type unbrako bolt. Re: Aussie' Kermit The shorter spark plug worked a treat, in this pic it is the lower one, i don't think t is a very common type though... Here are some pics of how we get around the shortened cylinder head stud. You can see the threaded access hole with the unbrako nut on the side. I've searched high and low for where I placed the by-pass valve I got off Ebay... fark-nose where it is... Yes you can keep 2 coils and leads, I'm expecting another set (6) coming soon, if they arrive in good order you can keep the four and just post me 4 leads back, you got 8 leads correct? They should arrive in 2 weeks... No rush no stress, ok!? I guess you can get away with no access hole if you use a short head stud instead if a bolt, I can't get that bolt in on the angle without it... Yes I have a connection cable.
