Post Noddy Mark 2
I've just bought this little beauty off the 'bay.
Refurbished and rebuilt in 2005 by www.cats-citroen.net and imported into the UK by a relative of Joeren.
It's converted to RHD and to be fair, has obviously been left out in all weathers, but is a good solid car and requires some tlc mainly to the body work and inside. I need a decent bonnet if anyone has one.
I have a guy up near me who is pretty good with them, so the plan is to replace all four wheels and tyres, bumpers, restore the bench seats, all the chrome work, the bonnet and grille, etc, I plan to spend about £1500 on bits - I've already bought a juane mimosa roof to go on which will look lovely, and I might put yellow stripes up the bonnet and down the boot.

i bet that WILL look lovely :)

For the seats, are you going all original? I got mine from Harrington Shine and when you buy a full set of seat covers they offer you 25% off the price of a stainless front&rear bumber = over riders.

Also, Matt of Matt's soft tops does gorgeous re-upholstery

You've GOT to get those ride heights sorted out, mate...

Black, yellow roof, yellow stripes - you going for the Fittipaldi/Andretti look?

Agreed, it looks like something Jono would drive!

I think you could do a nicer 2-tone paintjob than bright yellow, maybe a dark red? Just my opinion like...

I just want to give it a hint of yellow and black Charleston, I've already got the roof so it's going on! I'll keep the black one anyway for any purists!
I'll not be doing any stripes until I can find a decent bonnet!
Yes, it's a bit high (needs sorting), however, it handles superbly and its the fastest 2cv I've ever owned (I've had 5 already), it's mental.
Have no idea why!
It has the original bench seats (if it was meant to?), so, yes keeping them, just re-springin them and recover.
Should be nice .... soon!

Well, the roof is on and I'm waiting for a big crate of stuff to come so I can do the rest. A new bonnet is currently being sprayed so that will be on shortly so I can do the stripes! (It will look great IMHO).
I had to paint the wheels they were getting on me nerves, a temporary measure till new ones arrive, then I'll take the old ones to be shot blasted.
Ride height has been adjusted too ...
