Post subject:  1955 Traction Avant 11cv

My neighbour just took me into his barn and showed me his Citroen Traction from around 1955. Been sate there for 30 years. I had a quick look over it and he has left me the keys to the barn to go back in daylight.

I don't want it and I am not 100% sure what he wants me to do with is (very local French) but I was just wondering what something like this is worth - are they ten a penny or do people search them out. Just in case he is thinking of selling it (probably thinks I will buy it as I am English and just bought to Vans). It does have the wheels but no tires and the engine seems to rotate (non bloqué). Any ideas :?: :?:

Some of the dashboard parts are the same in my AZU

Think I answered my own question. This is the identical model.

Where can I get the wheel nuts for a traction from.

My neighbour came round asking if I can get them so he can move the car back to either his place or mine.... its not coming to mine

He is missing the wheel nuts and has asked me to get some.... (I rent his field so i have to be nice and he may become the next Mairie :D )

Cheers
Ian

Just 5 for each wheel

Not sure he wants to sell or he wants me to get it on the road and then he will sell. Nothing is straight forward in our village.

I think in the shape it is in it is probably worth around 3 grand. He probably thins 15
