fair play to ya like.

Are you going to remove that ally plate on the bulkhead?

What are you plans for it and is that a new lower windsceen panel?

I probably am going to remove that plate, the one job i didn't do today! My plans are to get it running and stoping, and to get it fairly presentable. I will try and match the paint (any suggestions for a colour match would be great). And the lower windscreen has been replaced before, i shall take some photos of where its has been welded.

yes it has! Car front axle and tie rods and that engine wasn't even bolted in! I plan to get an original dyane/acadiane engine and if I can maybe an aks400 rhd front axle. But it's fine, the tracking is out but it'll probably stay like that until I have more money.

Jack, the more I think about it the more i'm convinced your van was on eBay last year, or perhaps the year before, in a similar condition to when you picked it up. It was being sold by a 'specialist' in the Dorset? area - They sold, or at least had for sale ;) a fair few A series over a 2 year or so period.

I'm sure their website URL contained a reference to 'Dorset Plasterers' or summat along those lines (I've had a quick look & have drawn a blank :? ) I do know that they used to advertise on 2CVTV. Pretty vague, but if you can track them down perhaps they can help fill in the gaps in its history...
