Re: 1957 AZU - René II Just going to get it from the Carrouserie in Pau.  Off course driving in the Dyane  Roof open and scorching sunshine in the Pyrenees...... guests have gone and have two spare weeks before it all starts again with the Tour de France

Re: 1957 AZU - René II I got him back yesterday. Great driving back, 120 km on the backroads (still not going to take it on the autoroute ) Somehow it seems to be a little faster and I was flying on the flats and keeping a decent torque up the hills in 3rd gear. At one point I my wife had pulled back in the Dyane and I cannot see anything behind me, but a Gendarme was rolling me at 80kph in a 70kph zone, he then overtook me and waved before turning off Here are some photos - I am pleased with it, will change a few rusting screws for stainless steel but otherwise GREAT Attachment:

Re: 1957 AZU - René II Just met up with Sig (Jonathan) on his way through the Pyrenees to pick up his new project just north of us. (Fully loaded up with van and trailer) He delivered our new roof rack for the AZU - very pleased with it. Will get my retro bike built up and put on their ready for the Tour de France in a few weeks.
