Are you a magician????

first a dog infront of 2 2cv's and then suddenly a big rock* infront of 2 2cv's. How do you do that??????

* big rock is possibly art.....

Saw the first pic and wondered if the route had been blocked by a Polar Bear...

Well, it is time. René II has gone for its paint job. I know this was a little controversial and I know people like them as is, but René was not really as is but a mixture of crappy paint work, rust and dents and as it will be a working vehicle I wanted it to be fresh and newish looking for the years ahead. ;) ;)

He will be back to the factory colour in a month (original colour on firewall).

I drove it the longest distance ever so far - 120Km over the hills and valleys to Pau - not an issue at all except for the line of traffic behind, but I can't see out of the back anyway.

It is strange having someone else doing the work for me while I am away. Been busy on Cycle Tours on the Côte d'Azur and Corsica this past 3 weeks, 2000km pedalled in the past 15 days. Knackered. (Traction did not make it on Car SOS as I had hoped....... )

Here is the progress on the little van - seems there was some hidden holes, but not too many so far.

Some more updates on the little van.

The inside is now painted and more rusty spots found on the outside. Will have it home soon. :D

Back home after a week cycling across the Pyrenees and straight into another week riding 3 of the Tour de France stages (what a job :D )

But some photos of Réne were in my inbox and he will soon be ready for collection, hopefully next week when we have some spare time. I am quite pleased with the great and before anyone complains he is too shiny, this is for our business so needs to be sparkling - I have my other car which can meet the clapped out look
