Thats some crazy power you will have there Joey! I like it.
Twin blow through Webers
Quaife LSD is your best option, even 4wd will benefit greatly from LSD front and back. But you are correct, they are expensive...
You should look into Megasquirt efi ;)

Harley

Also; with your skills, look into twin spark if you want to play/machine more.

A don't agree anymore, driving (as a passenger) with the turbo 2cv of dyane 1976 or the supercharged aisan 300 from VGS
They both run smooth under SU carburetors develloping plenty of power and much easier to realise then efi. I think this engine (GSA) will give enough power with carburetors.......

Oke my turbo 2cv has more power overall but driving it for longer then a few minits under 1.5 bar of boost will destroi it anyway so whats the point..
At the moment I don't like the ignition of Megasquirt either, especcialy with 1 toothed wheels like I use now...
I never could run Megasquirt on a 1 toothed wheel on Megasquirt......

36/1 wheels is another story but where do you need it for with only 1 ignition event per revelution (2cv)
With a "tooth" at 45 degrees and running about 36 degrees (above 3000rpm) of advance between calculation
and firing is only 9 degrees crankhaft passed with a 36/1 wheel it would be at least 10 degrees!!! and how many times does Megasquirt calculate the timing??????? per revelution,,, read the manual for yourself......

I dare say that my ignition runs (as we speak) better then an original Megasquirt (for 2cv) but again this is my opinion.. (and you don't need to believe me...)

The whole Megasquirt is layed out for a 8 cilinder setup (American cars) and not for our 2cil. (my opinion)
so the whole software is written to run big engines and not our little 2cv's.
The only way I had my car run on Megasquirt (injection and ignition) I had to tune it like a 4 cilinder car. I've never managed it to run decent on the 2 cilinder setup........

This is why I think carburetors is the way to go for this engine.... (at this moment).....

Efi is the way to go for fuelefficency and not for power!!!!!

Just caught up with this thread. Unsurprisingly it took a Dutch member to perk my spirits up regarding this website and 2cving in general. Welcome to the forum, great car, I love seeing what people with more talent and vision than me can do to A series cars when they have the drive for it.

i will keep running carb's on this thing. nothing beats the sound of that haha. and im sure i will get enough power out of it with carbs.

i know quaife is the best but it will be just to big of a cost at the moment. maby when 4wd doesnt work well enough ill buy some. but still there is a thought of makeing it rearwheel drive only.
cause i would love to smoke up some tires.

lpgo will hopefully work with me on the ignition part, to make it run better at the rpm range. and also maby a rev. limiter. im sure that he can deliver a ignition that is the best option for my engine.

Agreed Lpgo, I think the megasquirt ignition system is not simplified enough for the 2cv but more than adequate, albeit a bit over kill.
I do think with the twin Webers you will get plenty of power.
What I discovered after converting my 2cv to Megasquirt fuel only was that the top speed remained basically unchanged, with original 123 unit, but the mid range torque and engine response was much better where it felt like a completely different engine, very smooth and low idle.

Keep us informed Joey, i'm not on facebook!
