Could'nt you use a bonnet repair-hinge ? I think they are (almost) similar.

I will take a picture of that hinge today... I dont think thay are so similar to front hinge. It is not easy to produce that kind of profile as it is made from thicker material than usual panels on 2cv. About that ...later.

Yesterday work... right side of AK is done :)

Before I post further... In my life I didnt see back hinges that wasnt good. Long time ago I found AZU 1956 in Croatia... seating in the wood for 20 years than. OK, total disaster, but Hinges were OK.

Now, I dont know if we talk about same part ;)

I am back... :) Front part of body ,right side and back side is done. Not without problems but I solve it so now all the work done is OK.
Now, I could write a whole book about new "shit" spare parts, which we bought in WM France... but I will not. Maybe later in some new topic.

Let see pictures...

First "shit"part ... front pedal panel.

Image

This part is short on each side for 1 cm (total 2 cm) ... first problem.

Image

Only way to sort this problem was to atach another few cm of side metal.

Than next job is to replace front window frame. Cutting it out was not a problem. Underneath was without rust...

Image

But... fitting new part was 4 hours job ...

... and few beers :)
