Hello I'm Mark and i come from sunny Slough (Well it is actually as i write this for once... YAY Sunshine)

Just collected Fred yesterday via the very friendly and very helpful Gary Dicks.Drove him back from Warminster and he didnt miss a beat.

Fred has had lots of new metal let in in all the life and death places, Runs well and strong, Holds oil very well for his 80,000 odd miles, however he will be requiring a bit of body surgery via the hot glue machine...Soonish.

Closer though

He has frilly bits and you can see them, they have been patched up for now and i have every intention of enjoying him for a while as said above.
The one thing could never accuse this car of is not being honest.
We have dings dents filler and rust in all the usual places.
Looks persentable from about 40ft away though

So bearing that in mind and being Skint as Arseholes from the purchace of him this month i still felt the need to raid my Garage of interesting tat and Give Fred something.
So i have fitted these rather tasteful and subtle seatcovers i had kept for such an occasion.

That and a couple of stickers (Its a tradition for me, Car goes well, car earns a sticker, If my Old cars go on a long journey the car must get a sticker... Its a sort of Superstition for me, If I forget then I will feel Mechanically compromised during the Next Journey... Yes I do probably need help)

I carefully looked into it you see, and i can now see the reasoning.
Im in 2 minds about Dedollyfying it (Will that get through?) Not a fan of the colour choice myself (No offence like) I am enjoying its previously enjoyed look though.
May just go for sympathetic Letting in of metal blowing in and leave it at that.
Hmm Dunno what does I2F think?

OK then I have had a Seed of an idea.
I am thinking of keeping the paint D*lly style but with a Twist, Making eveything that is white Satin Black, Slamming it on its Arse Full GS Hubcaps with spiked nuts or spinners , Red rims, Wide whites.
Replace the front lights with 59 Caddy Tail-lamps
Bit of Pinstriping here and there, that sort of thing.
A sort of Kustom, Crackwhore Evil D*lly with Tats :D

They were supposed to come down the other week after the Jubilee, Then the missus thought Europian cup ...Olympics.
Then again the Xmas lights are still up if you look closely.
The painting on the front of the house was started Oooooh 5 years back... Then i got bored.
Not a fan of D.I.Y you see
