Yes they are just cheapy whitewall paint off E bay.
In the advert It was advertised as a paint that does not flake or rub off.

Three coats with a 2" brush and they looked great

and to be fair it looked great for at least 10 miles

So as good as it looked in the Photos it started to look real tatty quite quickly.
It's all been removed with the aid of a jetwash now.

Ho hum wont be getting that stuff again but i have saved anyone else the bother of flashing out for it:lol:

Maybe at some stage i will flash out for eitehr a set of whitewall flaps or get Mr Whitewalls to do the business on them.

Back in the day I did whitewalls with plain old dulux satin and they lasted better than this (Disclaimer : Mr Unhinged does not reccomend you do this as he has no idea about whether it harms the tyres... Looked the nuts though)
so there you have it ...cheap whitewall paint, dont bother chaps

Hi Mark,
Sorry but I can't help stare at the bonnet touching the headlights bar...
...which is a sign of chasis bending...

Hmmm interesting ...and quite alarming.
I do know for a fact that the bonnet is bent a bit and could do with a reshape on the sides but I will get out there with a straight edge and have a look at the chassis next weekend.
Thanks for the heads up though

Russell gave me some measurements

You put a straight edge along the chassis and at x it should read y

Maybe someone can fill in the gaps ?

To be honest, on reflection, I couldn't justify the petrol to your house over a spelling error, so I probably wont. But it does get on my tits a bit.
