Small update...

I had some problems with gearbox and I had to install another one. This one is now from Cimos DAK 1985 and it is in good working condition.

Yes Russell, we do have high standards for our Citroens here. You must come sometimes here on some of our meetings to see. Me and some of my friends started some 17 years ago rebuilding 2cv-s in diferent style that others. So that car is realy rebuilt not just cheap "paint and high price". Our cars are in perfect condition up to 15 or more years before need to be small repaired again. This cars are not for sale. Mostly built for one lifetime owner. But... you must see it to belive it ;)

Back to story...

Few days after we came home... problems ...

No, this is not SNAIL DAK... it is broken "thing" inside spring pot... Dont know word for it...

I didnt have time so I made quick repair on car. Not a work for reference but ... It is working now.

I have never seen one break there before! Usually just the rod breaks, but that's quite odd I think.

I would love to come to your part of the world for a 2cv meeting, is there a calendar of meetings for next year anywhere? Maybe after Spain...
