Hi de hi campers!

Seems it's been a while since I was last on here-lots of stuff to catch up on......

Anyway, the sun shone today so, I decided to have a go at the old crate, I mean, van!

Poor old thing has been somewhat neglected over the last few (6) months so, I decided the time had come to sort out the suspension and make it a bit more "useable".

Thanks to Steve Walford (Steve Walford Motorsport-look out for him at the 2CV races, he's a smashing guy and always up for a chat or bit of support) whom I borrowed the appropriate tap off, I have been able to raise the van to a slightly more useable height today-it's not quite vertigo inducing but, it may mean that the chassis doesn't bottom out every time I take my foot of the gas!

Tomorrows job is to get it running and fill it up with petrol for the first time since the trip back from the ICCCR.

This week will see me actually using it! Monday night is Wasps night so, I figured it might be good to actually take an A series for once?! Then. Tuesday and Wednesday, I'm on a course at the Citroen training centre in Coventry-it'd be rude not to take the (44 year old) van and park it amongst all the brand new cars there wouldn't it.........................?

I wonder how many people there will know what it is? I also wonder how many people there would be able to do simple jobs like set the points or change a kingpin etc?

Anyway, enough waffling.

That's good news Glad to hear that Claude is back in favour :)
Have fun on the Citroën course - though there's probably more fun to be had in the car park by the sounds of it ;)

Changed my mind on buying it back mate. I don't think i will be in another a-series for a while, not now that i'm single-handedly reducing the amount of them on the roads.

Not a problem considering it's (currently at least) most definitely not for sale!

Have they taken the Ami away yet?
