Shock horror, I actually followed my New Years resolution through yesterday and got my van up and running again!

What a hoot!!

Anybody local-ish to Birmingham got a pair of spring cans and tie rod ends going spare very cheap?

You mean I transported a pair of spring cans 140 miles to Registers 2011 for Chris to fit that you're now unfitting... :lol:

All the threads are mashed up on the tie rods so it's too low on standard springs.

I'd like to fit another set of standard spring cans in the meantime then use the mashed thread tie rods with the springs that were on it when I got it. If that makes sense?
