Just seen this thread. Haven't laughed so hard in ages. Nikki wants pics and text for the D*lly club mag. Good luck getting it back on the road... you can do it.

Just seen the pics for the first time and all I can say is oooooooooooooooo.

Shell doesn't look to bad and the car is a spurtfest of single choke carb goodness.

What a find!

:o Are you looking at the same pictures as us?

lol yes there weren't fist sized holes in the upper bodyshell and the seats are free of moss...its pretty good. Those rear sweeps would shame many a D reg (1986) car.

Funny to think that 2CV clubs were full of cars of this era when you still had the option of a brand spankin Special or D*lly.

and on a helpfull note - did you find a chassis? Ive got a wheels one needing a home - but its way up here and not sure if its "drum ready"

and has it already been re chassised? Didn't they have bolt on undertrays back in the square drummer days?

Still need a chassis. Price dependant I could well be interested. Are you coming down country at any point?

Almost finished stripping it. Tomorrow the suspension will be off and I can commence with its viking style burial as I set fire to the remains and float it down the river Arun. Or put it in the skip, however the mood takes me.

It's in a very sorry state, makes me a little sad seeing them like this. What with it being so well loved by the last owner.

Poor thing fell in haft when I put it back in the shed.

I wish I had more monies so I could repair the shell, but I dont.
