Re: Green P.O.S.
many a modern French car has the same - caused a recall recently when it was found that passengers could work the throttle on meganes or something

Re: Green P.O.S.
That's right, you can push your foot hard against the passenger bulkhead and rev it up. Especially useful when the driver is trying to slow down.

Yup, if you've got narrow shoes on you could just about operate the brake on my 407 from the passenger seat ( up behind the glovebox)

Pity really as the shell doesn't seem that bad. I've owned worse.
Come down and have a look at it, it's much worse than it looks. Its got one salvageable rear window aperture, and I could probably cut a bit out of the top of the screen surround to use again, and the join in the roof rail isn't too rotten. There's nothing else worth saving except the bulkhead which I'm keeping anyway. Did you get my text re the glass?

Re: Green P.O.S.
I've offered them to Dave as he expressed an interest in them, please don't tell me you want them for your car?

Re: Green P.O.S.
I was just thinking they needed teaming up with a set of banded rims. I can't decide if they'd look ok or not.

Re: Green P.O.S.
There was an orange car at Egletons in 2007 that had similar wings and delta mic wheels with a fair bit of camber, it looked alright, but a bit too much like a beetle wannabe.
