Re: Ami 6 Break (up)
Well, as you know from our PM's, I would like the headlights and mountings, You said you had a set, guess it's from the red one. If they're in good shape.
Also if you can find space for it in you're car to take it to WM, I think the rear bumper from the green one would be nice, with the "overides".

Re: Ami 6 Break (up)
I've just noticed how similar this looks to mine when I bought it. Do Amis have the ORGA number stamped somewhere? I wonder how far apart they were off the line?

My Ami may be 5 mins older than yours. It got old type rear lights. Don't think Orga numbers were around at that time. From Cats website The ORGA code started with number 0001 on November 9th 1976. From that day on, the orga number was increased with 1 every day. From 1980 onwards, all Citroëns have a painted 4 digit ORGA code on the right hand side of the firewall On the same web site, you can check the VIN http://www.cats-citroen.net/citroen/serialnumbers.htmlAttachment:

Re: Ami 6 Break (up)
Thanks a lot 2CViking. Looking foreward to meet you at the WM. That goes for all of you by the way A little tech-question here... I need too replace the left doors and left rear ving on my AMI 6. I've found one ho have them i Sweden, but it turns out they are from a -69, and have the steel window-frames that is welded to the door.(I haven't seen them) Mine is a -68 and have windowframes in aluminium bolted to the doors.... Somebody know if it is easy to remove the welded frames and adapt the doors for the bolted alu ones?! Or is it easier to try to replace the doorskins on my old? Or continue the search for the rght doors....

Re: Ami 6 Break (up)
I have wondered this before, I think it's possible to do. You may have to weld in captive nuts for the frame though.

Re: Ami 6 Break (up)
Okay, businesses went quick while I worked and went grilling yesterday night Viking, if I understand it right you have sold the square headlights... Not to worry, at least I'll have the front pannel with indicator please. If you don't want mad money for your "golden" grill I would like that with too. Please PM me about prices. Rus, do I read it right you got some headlight for sale too? or are they already sold? If they are not sold, I'm interested, please pm me about the prices. Thanks and cheers, Bart

Re: Ami 6 Break (up)
Thanks Bart Front panel and grill has your name on it, including indicators. Sorry headlights were never for sale, we are moving them over to our red Ami and EirikJ put his hand up for them. I think Russ has some. If not we can find you some here in France. Are you coming to the WM? Are you in Germany? Don't really know what kinda money to ask for the front. Please PM me and give me an offer. Cheers Viking
